Thanks for your interest in Idf/Zahal Military Gear.

My name is Jack.

I was born in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) in 1956.

In 1962 my Zionist parents together with my sister, brother and myself came to Israel.

I served in the Idf/Zahal Army at the known and great Golani Brigade (Gdud 12) during the years 1974-77 until I was injured badly (lost an eye and severe head damage).

I have a store on eBay ('Zorba's Specials' - user name - 'Zorba139') were I sell unique and mostly rare 100% Authentic IDF (Israel Defense Forces) ZAHAL Military items as well as other collectible and interesting stuff.

All my listed and sold collectibles were legally bought either on the internet, markets and second hand shops or are my personal belongings.

My listed Idf items are 100% authentic and not those sold here in Israel at tourist/souvenir shops. They were actually used by Idf soldiers during their army service.

Since I add items on a daily basis visit my store often.

Vintage items are rarely 100% perfect, so please read the item description carefully before buying. All items are sold as is. All sales are final unless the item is grossly misrepresented.

Nobody wants or likes the frustrations caused by "hidden" flaws and with that in mind I describe all my items to the best of my ability, and often take multiple photos, so that you can see exactly what you are buying. I always take photo's of the actual listed item. If you have any questions or need further information about an item, don't hesitate to email me. I will be happy to answer any questions you have. I read my emails very often and will answer promptly. I always respond to an email, if you don't hear from me within 24-hours it may be the server so please re-send the message.

I will always mail items, appropriately wrapped within 24 hours of the cleared payment.

A word about shipping and handling - there is a true cost to servicing your order: parcels back and forth to the post office, parking, the packaging itself (boxes, tape, labels, paper and printing) and the weekly trips to buy supplies and all the inherent costs associated with that.

In short - the shipping and handling costs are the actual shipping and handling costs. I do not try to make money on shipping.

Buyers (especially those from Italy) are encouraged to purchase insurance on the shipment so that they are protected. Insurance is usually an additional $3.00.

Please note: Air mail shipping from Israel to the USA/Far East/Australia/N.Z. is usually 10 to 18 business days and to Europe it is 7 to14 business days.

Surface mail anywhere takes months...

Also please note that when buying multiple items and the total package weight exceeds 6.6 lbs/3 kg I will upgrade the shipping method to EMS (door to door delivery within 5-6 days) at no extra charge.
